Justin and Harry’s almost obsessive dedication to creating the outright best vineyards and wine from their home property has always been the dream. Strongly believing that the final result you get in your wine is determined by the quality of your fruit. Planting varieties that will flourish and create the best wine, with a shared value of ‘quality, not quantity’ is key here. Currently trying to create the best Pinot Noir possible, Harry strongly believes in wild fermentation using the yeast native and unique to our vineyard, paired with minimal intervention and being very gentle with the wine, using minimal pumping and utilising gravity where possible.

Having previously sold our grapes to Nepenthe where both of our Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc solely featured in their top of the range labels, the Pinot Noir appeared in the hottest 100 as the top 9 wine, scoring two gold and two bronze medals. Our grapes have also featured as the only fruit in Ochota Barrels top quality ‘Impeccable Disorder’ Pinot Noir in previous years. Currently, the family’s vineyards are also working with well-known and quality driven Shaw and Smith to deliver fruit of the highest level. Our vineyards produce some of the best fruit available, paired with our winemaking on site we can honestly reflect the year and our vineyards unique characteristics.
